Titusville Cruise - Titusville Marina - October 8-10
Titusville Marina
2022-10-08 16:00 – 2022-10-10 10:00
Join us in Titusville at the City Marina, for the weekend of October 8-10.
If you arrive Friday, consider walking / ubering to Dixie Crossroads; it's about 1.2 miles or a 26 minute walk, from the marina. There's a popular dog park right next to the Titusville city marina, so bring the mutts! Later we'll enjoy the live music at Pier 220 and adult beverages at the tiki hut and deck.
We will gather Saturday afternoon at Pier 220 for refreshments at 4ish, with dinner reservations at 6.
Boats can call Titusville Marina for slips at 321 383 5600. It's about a 10 minute walk from the marina to Pier 220. Rates are $2/foot plus $5 electric per day. Ask about the 10% discount for BoatUS Reserve early, as there are not many transient slips available.
There are also mooring balls outside the marina entrance; $20 per night, which includes shower access.
Northbound, just before the 406 bridge, there are some anchorage areas 8 - 10 feet.

Pineda Inn Cruise - August 20-21, 2022
Pineda Inn Bar & Grill
2022-08-20 16:00 – 2022-08-21 10:00
Let’s cruise to one of our favorite waterfront eateries, Pineda Inn Grill and Bar, in south Rockledge, for cocktails and dinner. Exact plans are subject to change, but previous events have gone something like this ... Dinghy to the shore at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, August 20, for Meet-and-Greet drinks at the bar, followed by dinner at 5 p.m. For those making a night of it, we will have a potluck breakfast for the boaters on Sunday morning, August 21, at 8 a.m. at Rotary Park, just to the north of the restaurant.
Dock space is available for boats with shallow draft. Depth is reported to be about 3 feet. It's a nice area for anchoring out also, and dinghys can easily tie up at the dock. From the ICW near red Marker 94, turn west, and you're there. The end of the T-dock is located at 28°13.70'N 80°40.28'W. Or, for the landlubbers, 6533 US-1, Rockledge, FL 32955. Please RSVP by purchasing free tickets on the club website.

Summer Sailstice 2022
Grills Riverside Seafood Deck & Tiki Bar
2022-06-18 12:00 – 2022-06-19 12:00
Mark your calendar for the premier sailing cruise of the year! Yes, it is the return of the Summer Sailstice on June 18/19. It is held on the weekend nearest to the Summer Solstice, the longest daylight of the year. Check out their website for more info - https://summersailstice.com.
Grills no longer has their south beach area with the canopy and tables where we used to meet for drinks and dinner, so it’s Plan B. Which is, start gathering at the outside bar around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday June 18 and then head in for dinner at 5:30 p.m. Sunday morning is breakfast at 8:00 a.m. for those who anchor out or would like to join us.

Marker 21 Cruise - Saturday-Sunday, April 23-24, 2022
2022-04-23 12:00 – 2022-04-24 12:00
April is a great month for sailing in our area, not too hot yet, and not too many thunderstorms. So let's take advantage of Florida in springtime to sail down to spoil island "BC37" near Marker 21 in the Indian River.
The best anchoring is near 27 59' 27.13" N, 80 32' 37.79" W. We will gather on Saturday for grilling ashore -- bring your own food, beverages, plates, utensils, and a dinghy to get to shore. No set time for anything, as uninhabited islands have no schedules!
If you would prefer to drive to the event ... well, sorry landlubbers, this one is accessible by boat only -- So no excuses!
Forecast calling for easterly winds both days, which is about ideal for a beam reach, so let's hope the prediction holds.

In preplanning the Awards Banquet, I’d like to call on all the bakers in the club and non-bakers (you can pick one up) and ask that you bring a dessert to the Awards Banquet.
Note from Rear Commodore Lynda Geraci: Please email me at slgeraci@att.net with what you’re planning on bringing. I know there’s a lot of culinary talent out there, let’s take advantage of it! If you’re having difficulty choosing a dessert to bring, perhaps I can help you decide. Email or call me. My email address and phone number are in the directory.
