REVISED April 18th
Sunday, May 11th Cruise to Fort Pierce (return date May 21):
Leave Eau Gallie area at approximately 8:00 AM.
Dock at Fort Pierce City Marina (772-464-1245) or anchor east of the ICW at Mile 967 along Causeway Island and into Faber Cove.
Slips are available May 11 and 21 for $1.50 per foot with Boat US discount. There are two restaurants on site.
Monday, May 12th Cruise to Palm Beach (return date May 20):
Leave Fort Pierce at approx. 7:30 AM.
CHANGE! Old Port Cove Marina will be undergoing renovations and some of those boats will be moved to their sister properties, North Palm Beach Marina and New Port Cove, they will not know their availability until 2 days prior to our trip. There is good anchorage in Lake Worth.
For those looking for a marina, Mrs. C and Judith III will be staying at Sailfish Marina Resort located just north of the Lake Worth Inlet. Space is somewhat limited so call early if you intend to stay. Contact 561-844-1724 or www.sailfishmarina.com . To approach the marina, look for the Lake Worth Inlet channel markers as soon as you pass under the Blue Heron Bridge. This channel heads to the east around Peanut Island rather than the southern ICW route which is on the west side of Peanut Island. The marina indicates there is plenty of depth in the channel but to watch the markers closely as there is shoaling around the Island.
Slip rates:
31’-35’ $2.50 per foot
36’ and up $3.00 per foot
Boats needing a t-head will be charged $3.85 per foot
Restaurant on site.

Slips are available at Pier 66 with a 40’ minimum for $122 +tax per night. Boats over 40’ in length are charged $3.05 per foot. Several restaurants on site.
Wednesday, May 14th Cruise to Miami:
Leave Fort Lauderdale at approx. 7:30 AM – a few of us will have to travel on the outside at this point, enter Miami at Government Cut.
Anchorage east of ICW flashing green “49” which is immediately north of the Venetian Causeway Bridge.
CHANGE: Sunset Harbor Marina (305-398-6800) located on the north side of the Venetian Causeway beachside.
www.sunsetharbouryc.com
Rates: 40’ minimum at $3.00 per foot per day
After doing some checking, we found that this marina is closer to the stores (Publix one block away) activities and anchorage areas of South Beach and has calmer waters than the Miami Beach Marina which is right on Govt. Cut. The marina does have availability and will take a credit card # for confirmation.
Both marinas have a pool and spa in addition to the typical amenities of laundry, showers, etc. You can check their websites for additional information.
Miami Beach Marina (305-673-6000) located on Government Cut
www.miamibeachmarina.com
